I booked a day-trip via Aferry.com
I booked a day-trip from Barneville-Carteret to Sark on August 20th 2016 via Aferry.com. I also booked two nights at a hotel. Only when I arrived in Carteret did I find out the crossing had been cancelled. I never received notification via e-mail or SMS and the Manches-Iles website, Facebook page and twitter account had NOTHING about the cancellation. I understand that bad weather happens but your company needs to find a way of relaying information to booked passengers. Even on the morning of the crossing when I went online to ;y Manches-Iles account it was indicating STATUS confirmed. I has seriously put me off using this service in the future
